A newsman-cum-councilman keeps it hyper-local in Denver
First-term Denver City Councilman Paul Kashmann seems to be tapping into the same communication skills and sensibilities he honed during his decades running a community newspaper. The former publisher of Denver’s hyper-local, hyper-plugged-in Washington Park Profile doesn’t just go through the motions in his outreach to his District 6 constituents. He adds a little creative pep to his communiqués. The one below, for example.
Really, we weren’t aware of any particular issues with the Canada geese that flock to Denver’s parks, but now, Kashmann’s got us curious. We might even attend the event he’s pitching – just because he made us giggle when this one turned up in our inbox. (May his less entertaining counterparts take heed.)
