Editorial: Job One for Legislature: Accomplish the big stuff
As Gov. John Hickenlooper spoke to a joint session of the Colorado House and Senate on Thursday, House Speaker Crisanta Duran and Senate President Kevin Grantham sat behind him on the dais.
As Duran, a Democrat, and Grantham, a Republican, did the previous day, the governor laid out his priorities for the year and repeated the need for bipartisanship in accomplishing them.
“Let’s make the days count,” Hickenlooper said.
