CENTRAL CITY OPERA GUILD
Wheat Ridge
News: Denver’s historic Crestmoor Park neighborhood will be the setting for the 48th edition of L’Esprit de Noel Holiday Home Tour, which takes place on Nov. 22 and 23.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The Central City Opera Guild hosts the tour as a benefit for the Central City Opera, the fifth-oldest opera company in the United States. It has been 40 years since homes in Crestmoor, one of Denver’s most scenic neighborhoods, have been featured in L’Esprit de Noel.
This year, five homes, each with distinct architectural charm, will be adorned in festive decor by nine of Denver’s best-known florists and table designers: Birdsall & Co., City Floral, Fresh Flower Market, KaraKara Blooms, Amy Lauren Floral Design, Acre Collective, Karli Spangler Events, DeFine Design and Rogala Design.
Acre Collective, a woman-run real estate and design group, is the title sponsor, and Lauren Crist-Fulk is the tour chair.
Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased by visiting lespritdenoel.org/buy-tickets. They cost $50 each if purchased online or $55 at the door on tour days. Central City Opera Guild members can buy them for $40 each.
About the organization: The Central City Opera Guild was established in 1974 to support the Central City Opera’s programs. They include the opera company’s annual Summer Festival; the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artist Training Program; education and community enrichment initiatives that reach some 40,000 individuals annually; and the preservation and maintenance of Central City’s historic Opera House and the 27 other historic properties in Central City that the opera owns.
