Arapahoe County opens applications for small business COVID relief funds
Applications are open for Arapahoe County’s newest COVID-19 relief fund for small businesses struggling as a result of the pandemic.
Funds are available to restaurants, bars, caterers, movie theaters, gyms and rec centers that did not previously receive 2020 CARES Act funding.
“Small business is at the very heart of a thriving economy and has been hit especially hard during the pandemic,” said Arapahoe County Board Chair Nancy Sharpe.

“We encourage eligible small businesses within Arapahoe County to apply, without delay, so this funding can help keep their doors open with the support of funding programs like this.”
The maximum funding a business can receive is $7,000. The county will prioritize funding for small businesses with receipts of less than $500,000, followed by those with receipts between $500,000 and $1 million.
This newest funding comes from the $37 million the Colorado General Assembly voted to make available to the state’s small businesses suffering revenue loss during the pandemic during last month’s special session.
