Officials from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment are advising to limit celebrations to people from the same household to help slow the spread of the virus.

“This holiday season is an opportunity to reimagine what togetherness can look like and come up with creative ways to celebrate loved ones while making sure they stay health for many more years to come,” a news release from CDPHE said.
Health officials are still encouraging Coloradans to cook and eat that special Thanksgiving meal, video chat and talk on the phone with friends, family and love ones. Wear a mask and continue to social distance, but do not travel down the block or across the country to celebrate.
“As COVID-19 cases continue to rise throughout Colorado, it’s important to do everything possible to keep yourself and your loved ones safe while celebrating Thanksgiving,” the release read.
