FEEDBACK | Let voters send this get-rich-quick scheme packing

Now that October has arrived with mail ballots soon to follow, can anyone believe the blizzard of repeated hype by public figures in radio adds touting Prop. DD, claiming that Colorado’s promised gusher of “sports-betting” money will come solely from its three casinos?
Don’t the casino operators first have to separate large sums of money from addicted bettors before taking their profits, before passing a portion of the resultant loot on to the state?
Doesn’t that scheme leave the great majority of the pool of bettors poorer?
Haven’t Colorado’s voters repeatedly shown their wisdom by resoundingly rejecting all previous efforts to expand gambling to every hamlet in our state?
Shouldn’t voters vote NO on Prop. DD and save their neighbors from yet another governmental get-rich-quick scheme?
