Biennial of the Americas to be held in Denver
This year’s Biennial of the Americas Festival will address “Empathy in Action” in Denver this week.
The festival will kick off Tuesday at 8 a.m., and events will be held through Sunday. A light and sound display that includes projection mapping on the City and County Building can be viewed Wednesday through Saturday.
Sir Richard Branson will be featured at “The Business of Empathy” on Thursday, discussing his career highlights and his entrepreneurial spirit, according to a news release.
Author Michael Ventura will lead a workshop Friday on the methodology in his book “Applied Empathy.”
The Denver nonprofit works to celebrate the cultural and economic connections between North and South America, as well as explore solutions to shared challenges.
