The Pueblo Chieftain: A new and improved summer festival?

The Bash on the Riverwalk put a new twist on a longtime tradition this year. After a long run on B Street, the summer festival was moved to the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo. Also, the organizers decided to book two bands each Friday night instead of one.

The changes were intended to reverse a decline in attendance over the past few years.

Heading into the bash’s final weekend, the results so far have been mixed.
