The Pueblo Chieftain: Cafasso a good choice for Corwin

Add another line to Mike Cafasso’s already distinguished resume. St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center recently named the longtime Pueblo resident as its new chief executive officer. Cafasso previously had served as the hospital’s vice president of operations before taking the interim CEO job following the resignation of Brian Moore last October.

Before going to work for St. Mary-Corwin, Cafasso had a long career as an executive for Pueblo Bank & Trust, American Bank of Commerce and the former United Banks of Colorado. He serves on the Pueblo Board of Water Works and the Colorado State Fair Commission. Recently, he was named 2018 Citizen of the Year by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.
