Colorado House Speaker Crisanta Duran talks unions, transportation, energy

Colorado Politics’ Joey Bunch caught up with Colorado House Speaker Crisanta Duran, a labor attorney by trade, to discuss unions, transportation and energy, among other topics.

Duran on unions: “It’s important that workers have the opportunity to be able to have a voice as it relates to their economic security.”

Duran on the state’s transportation debacle: “We are continuing to try to figure out where we can get common ground with Republicans and Democrats. Democrats absolutely want to invest in transportation and come up with a comprehensive solution so that no community in Colorado is left behind. But we also have to make sure we’re doing that not at the expense of kids.”
