The 12th Annual Denver International Wine Festival (DIWF) lands at Denver International Airport on Thursday, November 3, for a gourmet celebration of food and wine.

When:             November 3-4, 2016

Where:            Westin Hotel, Denver International Airport

The Festival, hosted by Wine Country Network, showcases the largest selection of international and domestic wines at any Grand Tasting in the Rocky Mountain region.

This year, the DIWF moves to the newly opened Westin Hotel at DIA, making it the world’s first fly in, fly out wine festival. As an added bonus, the Westin DIA will offer special Denver International Wine Festival rates starting at $149 per night for Festival attendees!

Denver’s new light rail train route, which opened in April, connects DIA’s new transportation center and the Westin Hotel with Union Station in Downtown Denver, facilitating travel to and from the Festival even more. Transit time is just under thirty-seven minutes, and the cost is only $9 per day.

This is the region’s largest wine tasting event for consumers, media and trade, with more than eighty wineries and distilleries pouring. Attendees enjoy delectable food and wine tastings, food products, wine accessories, a silent auction and fine art. Recent additions include Page Cellars (Washington), Kovacs Nimrod Winery (Hungary), Chateau Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Babylonstoren (Cape Dutch, South Africa).

The Grand Tasting will feature more than 300 wines and spirits.
