? Pro-life bus tour stops in Denver tonight
A 50-state bus tour to promote ending abortion in America is scheduled to stop in Denver Monday night for a rally, prayer and fast, according to the sponsoring group, 40 Days for Life.
The group describes itself on its website as “a community-based campaign that takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families.”
The 40-day bus tour, dubbed the “UNITED 40 Days for Life” campaign, started on Sept. 28 and is to end Nov. 6. The Denver rally is to be held at 6:30 p.m. outside the Denver-Stapleton Planned Parenthood Clinic, 7155 E. 38th Ave.
The tour will hold rallies and prayer vigils in more than 125 cities to encourage Christians to stand together for the sanctity of life across the nation. Other organizations involved are March for Life, Heartbeat International, Silent No More Awareness, Students for Life and Susan B. Anthony List, along with city and state anti-abortion coalition groups.
Each 40 Days for Life campaign consists of 40 days of prayer and fasting, community outreach and constant, peaceful vigil in the public right of way outside abortion facilities.
