Letter: Stop litigating solutions to water storage needs

Editor:

I am 81 years old and have lived here all my life. The subject of sufficient water storage in Colorado is a conversation that has been on going for years, ever since litigation became possible by conservationists and environmental radicals. What needs to be done is have the courts establish items that are necessary to sustaining life and exclude these matters from litigation. Those items are water, electricity, food and air. I know, it sounds like Utopia, but so does listening to every crackpot that feels the only way to resolve these issues is to conserve. Conservation is great, but you can only do so much. With time against you, roadblocks must be eliminated because of the lead time needed to meet these critical demands.
