Most city and county offices in Denver will be closed Monday

Most of Denver’s city and council offices will be closed on Monday in honor of César Chávez Day.

Although departments such as the Denver’s sheriff, police and fire departments will remain open most of the offices will be closed throughout Monday.

  • Denver Motor Vehicle Title and Registration
  • Denver Human Services
  • Department of Transportation & Infrastructure Permit Counters
  • Excise & Licenses
  • Libraries
  • Office of Human Resources, talent acquisition testing and new hire onboarding
  • Office of the Medical Examiner
  • Parking meters, cashiers and magistrate
  • Recreation centers
  • Taxpayer service center
  • Trash, recycling and compost collection
  • Vehicle impound facility
  • Wastewater management
  • Workforce centers
