FEEDBACK | Syria vote revealed the hypocrisy of our D.C. delegation

Re: “All Colorado U.S. house members vote against Trump on Turkey’s intrusion into Syria,” Oct. 16:

Now that all seven Colorado congressmen, by their votes, have gone on record as opposing President Trump’s partial Syrian troop withdrawal:

  • Is there even one of them who would immediately resign his position, privately raise funds for a volunteer force similar to Teddy Roosevelt’s “Rough Riders” (of 1898), and enlist therein, to go “over there” and fill the breech till hell freezes over?
  • Is there even one who would send his wife, children or grandchildren as cannon fodder there to fight in that American-created and funded hell-hole?

By this vote, have we not seen the epitome of mass hypocrisy?
