Zoey DeWolf, a lobbyist and partner with one of the state Capitol’s top firms, Colorado Legislative Services, is taking on a new job.

She has accepted the position of director of government affairs in the Rocky Mountain West region for the Sanofi, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on human health.

She begins her new job on Oct. 7.

“I am excited to be taking this new and challenging role where I will be an advocate for people’s health and will work to ensure patients have access to critical and innovative medicines,” she tells Colorado Politics. “I am expanding my footprint in the Mountain West, but I am keeping Denver as my home base.”

DeWolf has been with Colorado Legislative Services in 2012. 

DeWolf was promoted to partner in 2018 after representing some of the state’s biggest associations and companies, including the Colorado Bankers Association, NextEra Energy Resources, UC Health, Colorado School of Mines and the Colorado Bioscience Association. In the last three years, she has been responsible for the growth of CLS revenue by more than 10%.

She will allow her to “still do what I love,” which includes her extensive work in the community, including as a speech and debate coach at West High School and as board chair of Minds Matter Colorado.

Dewolf also has been an advisory team member to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s Institute of Science and Policy, as well as a “running buddy” volunteer for girls 8 to 13 years old in the Girls on the Run of the Rockies program.
