The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: Finally, the end to an ugly chapter

Frequent fliers to Grand Junction Regional Airport must wonder why the skeleton of a building has stood near the terminal for nearly six years.

What kind of aimless community erects but doesn’t complete a large structure next to the airport terminal? The eyesore is hardly the image the Grand Valley wants to project as a rising community that takes care of business.

Thankfully, the building will disappear soon, ending a dark chapter in the airport’s otherwise unremarkable history of capable administration since the early 2000s.
