Eyewitness accounts suggest it’s a miracle that Monday’s 10-acre Rosevale fire didn’t do more damage.

Of the 364 homes evacuated, only one appeared to have been destroyed by the fast-moving blaze as of Tuesday, though others were singed and numerous outbuildings and cars burned. Mercifully, no one was killed or injured in what was surely a chaotic scene.
