Patrick Dillon, a candidate for town trustee in Berthoud, is one of 40 candidates in 26 states who picked up an endorsement from Run for Something, the national campaign to help millennials run for office.

“I am so grateful for Run For Something’s endorsement of our Berthoud trustee campaign,” Dillon said in a statement. “Their mission to get young minds focused on the future in office at every level makes the difference between someone thinking about running and someone signing up, knocking on doors, fighting loudly for what they believe in.”

Dillon, 25, is in the trustees race in the Larimer County town with Maureen Dower, Paul Frekey, Tim Hardy, Kevin Pischke, Heidi Short and Pete Tomassi.

He moved with his wife to Berthoud from Las Vegas in 2013 and works at Easter Seals Colorado as the supported employment coordinator helping people with disabilities find and keep jobs.

“I get to spend a lot of my time in the community working to advocate for Berthoud youth, families, seniors and our neighbors with disabilities,” he said on his website.
