U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet’s staff to meet with southern, eastern Colorado constituents

U.S. Sen Michael Bennet’s staff is planning a series of “listening sessions” in the southern and eastern Colorado this week, his office said. Those who have concerns or comments about what’s happening in Washington will be able to meet one-on-one with members of Bennet’s staff.

Meetings are planned in Rocky Ford,La Junta,, Limon, Stratton, Lamar and Trinidad.

The Democrat from Denver sits on the Agriculture, Finance and HELP (Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions) committees, his office noted.

“Are you struggling with an issue with the Department of Veterans Affairs, IRS, Social Security Administration or another federal agency? Do you have a suggestion or action Congress could take to help your family or community?” according to an announcement of the meetings.

Those who would like a meeting should RSVP with a description of the issue to John_Griego@bennet.senate.gov or 719-328-1100.
