Coronavirus testing sites in Colorado
Coloradans are facing a new peak in the COVID-19 pandemic, with confirmed cases in the state reaching over 130,000 and more than 1.3 million tests administered, according to John Hopkins University.
Here is where to go to get a COVID-19 test in Colorado:
Denver Metro Community Testing Sites
The following are free community testing sites in Adams, Arapahoe, Denver and Douglas counties. Registration requirements and hours of operation are available at tchd.org.

State Testing Sites
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has an interactive map showing the state’s COVID-19 testing locations. It is available at covidtest.colorado.gov/map.
Health Centers
The federal Health Resources and Services Administration has a state-by-state interactive map showing COVID-19 testing locations within health centers. It is available at findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov.
Testing Kiosks
Colorado launched its first two COVID-19 testing kiosks this week at Greeley’s University of Northern Colorado and at Denver International Airport. Note: The DIA location is for use only by employees.
The kiosk tests are self-administered, with patients coughing and swabbing the inside of their cheek and the roof of their mouth, then returning the swab in a sealed container to be tested. Results are provided within 48 hours.
The UNC location is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The UNC kiosk is open to all Coloradans, not just those associated with the university. It accepts walk-ins, but residents can register ahead of time at curative.com.
More testing kiosks will be announced at later dates.
Walgreens
Walgreens provides COVID-19 testing at locations in Denver, Aurora, Greeley, Loveland, Grand Junction and Avon.
To sign up for a test, participants must complete a screening survey online then choose a time and location for a testing appointment. At the appointment, a Walgreens pharmacy member will meet the participant at their car and help them to perform the nasal swab test.
The swab will be sent to PWNHealth, which will contact the patient with results.
Walmart
Walmart pharmacies provide drive-thru COVID-19 tests at locations in Aurora, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Northglenn and Pueblo.
To receive a test, patients must first get a request from their doctor or health plan for an observed self-collection COVID-19 test.
Those with requests from their doctor or health plan can schedule an appointment at appointment.questdiagnostics.com/patient/appointment.
Health Mart Pharmacies
Health Mart Pharmacies provide COVID-19 testing at locations in Denver, Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Littleton, Aurora, Lakewood and Englewood.
To sign up for a test, participants must complete a screening survey online and receive an eligibility voucher. At the appointment, participants must present their voucher and an ID. A pharmacy member will meet the participant at their car and help them to perform the nasal swab test.
Results will be emailed within three to five business days.
eTrue North
eTrue North pharmacies provide COVID-19 testing at locations in Denver and Greeley.
To sign up for a test, participants must complete a screening survey online and receive an eligibility voucher. At the appointment, participants must present their voucher and an ID. A pharmacy member will meet the participant at their car and help them to perform the nasal swab test.

King Soopers
By the end of November, King Soopers will provide rapid antibody testing in Colorado stores to determine if a person has previously been infected with the coronavirus.
The finger-prick blood sample test will provide results in about 15 minutes and cost $25.
The FDA-authorized tests are already available at King Soopers’ Kroger pharmacies in Michigan and California.
