The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: FML board has been fair on Anvil Points dispute

Thanks to the Anvil Points settlement, Mesa County commissioners are in line for an unexpected windfall of $1.5 million to use toward a much-needed jail expansion.

They should gratefully accept it and move on. If they insist on getting more, the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District could become a shambles – at least in the near term.
