Colorado Democrats launches statewide tour to organize voters

The state party said Tuesday it will roll out the Colorado Democrats’ 2018 Action Tour across the state to organize its voters starting this weekend in Gunnison and Saguache counties. The aim is to rev up supporters for this year’s elections.
“Democratic enthusiasm for the 2018 election is off the charts, evidenced by the fact that there is a Democratic candidate contesting every seat up for election in state government,” state party chair Morgan Carroll said in a statement. “This tour will give us an opportunity to engage, mobilize, and organize activists and voters, turning grassroots energy into electoral wins up-and-down the ballot.”
The party had a 12-stop statewide “listening” tour last year, according to a press release.
