House GOP finalizes its committee leadership
House Republican leader Patrick Neville of Castle Rock announced his committee leadership team late Monday afternoon.
Republicans are in the minority in the House, so ranking members serve as the leaders for the party members on the committees.
The ranking members for the session starting Jan. 11 are:
Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Resources: Jon Becker of Fort Morgan.
Appropriations: Bob Rankin of Carbondale.
Business Affairs and Labor: Dan Nordberg of Colorado Springs.
Education: Jim Wilson of Salida.
Finance: Kevin Van Winkle of Highlands Ranch.
Health, Insurance and Environment: Susan Beckman, a freshman legislator from Littleton.
Judiciary: Yeulin Willett of Grand Junction.
Local Government: Clarice Navarro of Pueblo.
Public Health Care and Human Services: Lois Landgraf of Fountain.
State, Veterans and Military Affairs: Stephen Humphrey of Severance.
Transportation and Energy: Polly Lawrence of Littleton.
Neville also announced Monday that he had reassigned Lawrence to the Finance Committee and Wilson to the Local Government Committee.
