The Colorado Association of Realtors honored, on the top row from left, Sens. Chris Holbert and Jeff Bridges, and, second row from left, Reps. Monica Duran and Julie McCluskie.

The Colorado Association of Realtors named Sens. Jeff Bridges and Chris Holbert, as well as Reps. Monica Duran and Julie McCluskie, its legislators of the year.

The influential trade association has more than 26,500 members statewide.

“A REALTOR® Champion is a leader who’s approachable, eager to listen and ultimately, stands up for REALTOR® priority issues,”  Justin Knoll, the association's board chairman, said in a statement. “CAR has had the honor of working with many state legislators who exhibit these principles and these four honorees truly exemplify those Champion traits and accomplishments.”

Holbert is a Republican from Parker. Fenberg is a Democrat from Greenwood Village. Both Democrats, Duran is from Denver and McCluskie is from Dillon.

Last year the association honored Sen. Bob Gardner, R-Colorado Springs, and Reps. Matt Gray, D-Broomfield; Mike Weissman, D-Aurora; and Terri Carver, R-Colorado Springs.
