Colorado Christian University will be home base for an effort to "spread the Gospel of Jesus" across Denver Friday and Saturday.

The Centennial Institute at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood is setting itself up for a tall mission: to "bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every household in Denver, Colorado."

That was the word Monday night when the conservative think tank announced its partnership with Saturate USA to send missionaries to the streets Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Volunteers will gather each morning at the Anschutz Student Center at Colorado Christian University at 8787 West Alameda Ave. in Lakewood.

Door-knockers will be giving a package that includes door hangers, information on an app, multi-language file DVDs about Jesus, gospel tracts and maps of their adopted area.

"What can be better than spreading the love of God, growing your church and meeting new neighbors?" the Centennial Institute said in its announcement.
