It’s been said that bad luck comes in threes. Then again, sometimes good luck is that way, too.
For an example of the latter scenario, consider what’s been happening along the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo over the last few days.
First, there was the grand opening for the Pueblo Convention Center’s expansion. Secondly, Jerry Pacheco, the Urban Renewal Authority’s director, announced that a deal has been finalized with AAA Hotel Developers to build an extended stay hotel next to the SpringHill Suites on Santa Fe Avenue. Thirdly, the city will get a look next week at proposals to build another hotel on the former police annex building property along the riverwalk.
