We know this much, if little else, about new Mayor Nick Gradisar’s plans for Pueblo: He wants to hire more people to help him accomplish them.

How many more people, we don’t know yet. What he would pay them, we don’t know yet. And what their specific responsibilities would be, well, we don’t know that yet, either.

In his first meeting with the City Council after his election, Gradisar spoke of adding several people to his administrative team. Maybe a chief of staff. Maybe a grant writer. Maybe a budget officer. And maybe someone who could serve as a public affairs officer and ombudsman.
