Say what you will about Chris Nicoll, but he’s never been afraid to be “that guy.”

You know, the one who’ll ask a question about a touchy subject others in the room would have preferred to avoid. The one who is willing to say out loud what everyone else has been thinking. And the one who’s got the big idea that sounds a little far fetched, but just might work.

Nicoll’s tenure on the Pueblo City Council ended last week as we rang in the new year. After two four-year terms on the council, he’s prevented by law from serving another. But he made the most of his time on the council while he was there.
