Three left-leaning groups with different missions will raise money under one roof on Feb. 4, when One Colorado, the Sierra Club Colorado and Cobalt put on a party for small donors, the organizations said Monday.
Called The 2020 Triple Threat, the event will be at Tracks/EXDO Event Center at 3500 Walnut St. in Denver beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $30 and are available by clicking here. State Rep. Leslie Herod, a Democrat from Denver, is expected to emcee, with "several special guest appearances."
One Colorado advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Coloradans and their families, claiming more than 105,000 supporters. The Sierra Club’s Colorado chapter is the state’s oldest environmental group with more than 100,000 members. Cobalt, which recently changed its name from NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado, works on reproductive rights issues and campaigns. The organization cited its more than 50,000 members.
