Teachers Denver

Denver Public Schools teachers are planning to take a strike vote Saturday unless they can work out their differences with district officials on a new contract.

The Denver Classroom Teachers Association, with 5,600 members working for DPS, is negotiating with the district, but as of Thursday the two sides were far apart.

In the attached videos are perspectives on the situation from both sides.

9News on Thursday interviewed DPS Superintendent Susana Cordova and DCTA President Henry Roman.
