Winter Park
News: The National Sports Center for the Disabled hosts its annual RethinkAbility Vertical Feet Ski Challenge on April 12 and 13 at Winter Park Resort. It’s a fundraiser where participants attempt to shred the most vertical feet in one day.
In exchange for a minimum $75 registration fee, each registrant receives priority lift access, a participant bib, a ski pass for the day, food and drink, a swag bag and the satisfaction of making a difference by supporting adaptive sports and changing lives.
It’s hoped that each participant can raise at least $150 in donations.
“Compete against your buddies for bragging rights and carving your name into the vertical feet record books,” says NSCD president/CEO Julie Taulman. “This event is not just a challenge. It’s a showdown!”
In addition to the bragging rights, participants can compete for prizes from donors that include IKON, Meier Skis, Winter Park Resort and more.
