Bennet to hold post-Thanksgiving town hall meeting

Colorado’s U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet announced that he will hold a town hall meeting in Denver on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

A press release reported that Bennet will take questions and listen to concerns. His office encourages attendees to bring children and family “in the spirit of Thanksgiving.”

The meeting will take place at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street in Denver, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 29. Doors will open at 4 p.m.

This is the first such meeting Bennet will hold in Colorado this year. He participated in several in 2018 and 2017, and has also been party this year to numerous town hall meetings in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Bennet is currently a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Those who wish to attend may RSVP here. Bennet has also has invited Coloradans from rural counties to meet with his staff in a series of fall “listening sessions.”
