Tickets are still available for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Champions of Change event Thursday night in Glendale.

Among the honorees are “The SheFactor,” the book and digital platform led by Heidi Ganahl, the University of Colorado regent at-large, and Denver-based Davita Inc., which was led by the politically active Kent Thiry, until he stepped down as CEO in April.

Other honorees include:

• Social Impact: Haselden Construction and Bright Horizons
• Mission Minded: Colorado Technology Association and RevGen Partners
• Small but Mighty: Vantage Evaluation and Inside the Orchestra
• Corporate Change Makers: Bank of America and Polsinelli
• Industry Trailblazers: Mortenson Construction and Griffiths Law PC
• Champion of Change: Bruce Alexander, CEO of Vectra Bank

The reception and awards ceremony begins at 5 p.m. in the Infinity Park Event Center at 4400 E. Kentucky Ave. in Glendale. Tickets are $75 for chamber members and $85 for non-members.

“We believe it is imperative to recognize organizations for innovative practices in the promotion and advancement of women. Not only to reward the incredible work that’s being done, but more importantly to shine a spotlight on the winning companies so other organizations can learn from their practices and ideally implement similar ideas in their businesses,” Kristen Blessman, CEO of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce CEO, said in a statement Saturday. “Learning from one another is the only way systematic change in the workplace is going to happen for women.”

The honorees are being recognized for making it a “strategic to advance women within the business to leadership positions,” as well as paying wages based on performance, skill and education, the chamber said.

The list of honorees are “recognized for actively and strategically advancing women in business through their commitment to inclusive, supportive and empowering cultures,” the chamber said in a press release.
