Eric Trump to campaign in Weld County Tuesday

Colorado is getting even more major presidential campaign attention this week – now from the Republican side.

Eric Trump, son of Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump plans to visit his father’s new campaign office in Weld County on Tuesday morning. He will make an appearance at the new Weld County Trump for Colorado office in Greeley at 9:30 a.m Tues., Oct. 11. The new office will be located at 361 71st Ave. in Greeley.

Eric Trump is following a long, recent string of high-level Trump campaign visits to the state. Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Mike Pence have all visited Colorado within the last month, and Donald Trump made appearances himself in Pueblo and Loveland last week.

Both sides of the presidential race are actively courting voters in the state. Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is scheduled to attend a voter registration event in Pueblo on Wednesday and Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine and musician Dave Matthews are appearing together on Monday afternoon at a combination rally and concert at the National Western Complex. That event is aimed at getting supporters registered to vote and comes a week before clerks can start mailing ballots to voters.
